GREG HETSON

Circle Jerks & Bad Religion Lead Guitarist • Hermosa Beach / Los Angeles, CA • Since 1978

Co-founder and lightning-fingered lead guitarist of Circle Jerks, early guitarist of Redd Kross, and longtime guitarist of Bad Religion (1984–2013) and Punk Rock Karaoke. His airborne SG jumps and buzzsaw South Bay riffs helped write the Southern California hardcore songbook.

“In 1979 we didn't care about five-minute guitar solos—we wanted fourteen blasts of pure adrenaline in fifteen minutes flat.”
